There has been a change of plan...

Important update

We apologise for the lack of posts recently. We have been working hard behind the scenes to piece ourselves together after two incredibly crazy years, whilst still keeping busy with event work such as this banging canapé party in the photos:

This brings us to our announcement. It is with great consideration and a heavy heart that we have decided not to operate The Cellar Door at Sandridge Barton, the new home of Sharpham wine.

Whilst we have been so excited for this new project for so long, we are a small independent family team, and due to the volatile nature of the industry at the moment we have been unable curate a work/life balance that allows us to watch our son grow up, spend any significant time with our friends and family, or focus enough on our mental and physical health. The only thing we would be able to sacrifice for these things would be to compromise on the quality of our offering, which we are simply unwilling to do.

We are still operating as a very flexible event caterer, and are available for anything you can think of, from weddings to small private functions in your own home. We are also keeping the trailer kitchen and looking for a space to provide a delicious street food offering for the summer. We have applied for our dream spot but have no idea if we will get it, so please contact us with any ideas!

We will certainly have a restaurant again one day, but unfortunately, now is not the time.
We wish our second family, Sharpham Wine, all the best with their new venture, and will certainly be regular visitors!

Thank you to each and every one of you who crossed our path over the last four years. Your contribution to our dream will not be forgotten. ❤❤❤
